ADnD
Inspired by my favorite Intellivision game as a kid, ADnD ignited my love for video games! Enjoy this version I recreated and live (or re-live!) that experience from decades ago!
To play:
Choose a difficulty then click new game.
Use the arrow pads embedded onscreen to move on the main map. WASD or the virtual joystick to move the adventurer and onscreen buttons to shoot arrows in a specific direction and interact with items inside the caverns. Enjoy!
For those not familiar with the classic game:
Object: move your 3-person expedition (represented by the three blinking dots) strategically through various mountains on the main map to get to the final large mountain and find the two pieces of the lost crown.
gray mtns provide: extra arrows
blue mtns provide: boat to cross the river
red mtns provide: axe to cross the forest
purple mtns provide: key to cross the gate latch
green mtns cannot be entered
when counting arrows, each "click" heard represents one arrow
Difficulty changes the number of arrows you get in each quiver you pick up as well as monster chase speed.
watch out! Blobs are invulnerable (cannot be killed) and spiders will eat your arrows if they get too close! Also, bats are so noisy they cover the sound of other sleeping monsters you may otherwise hear sleeping if moving carefully.
To exit each mountain, you have to find and stand on the green ladder and press the exit button.
